I really enjoyed reading your facts Ryan, I would never have guessed that Sudan has the most pyramids in the world...2020 extant (this is an interesting word that you used, it means that the pyramids are still in existence-they haven't disappeared).
Kia ora Ryan. Great work on your Genial-ly. You have read the information on the Kauri Site well to present your ideas. I am always fascinated how they built these huge structures with none of the technology that we have today. I have heard that the poor slaves had to build it but I would love if you could research it and add a button to your genial-ly about it!
HI Ryan, gosh the pyramids are amazing aren't they?! I would love to see them in person. You told us what they are made of, but I wonder how they actually did it without cranes or modern equipment?
Hi Ms Fletcher the Egyptians were able to move massive heavy blocks by wetting the blocks (like we do for a sand castle) and fitting it into a contraption that pulled the blocks easier. Hope this helps from Ryan 😊
Kia ora, Ryan. I have been lucky enough to visit Egypt, spend some time at the pyramids of Giza, as well as actually go inside one. Did you know that there are 9 pyramids at the site in Giza? I was really surprised as I thought that there were only 3 (the three large ones in your picture), but as you can also see in your picture there are 2 smaller ones in the front. But in total there are actually 6 smaller pyramids at his site.
kia ora Sarah have you really been to Egypt. And No I didn't know there were 9 pyramids at the site of Giza Yeah, even I thought there were only 3 too. Have you seen a pharoah?
